  • 6 tbsp butter, softened to room temperature
  • 4 cups bread flour
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp vital gluten

  • ½ cup milk + 1½ tsp vinegar
  1. In bread machine add all ingredients (milk through yeast). Program the bread machine for the dough cycle and start.
  2. Once dough is done, allow to rest covered by dish towel for 10 minutes.
  3. Separate the dough into 12 equal pieces for hot dog rolls or 8 equal pieces for hoagie rolls. Roll the dough until about 6 inches in length. Put on parchment paper baking sheets and allow to rise for about 30-45minutes. Brush with milk vinegar mixture and bake in 375 degree oven for 18-22 minutes.
